Poor Engine Start..., Need help tunning... Options

i thought i finally solved the problem of having a cold start in the mornings if i bought some Iridium Spark Plugs (NEW) and some new Magnecore 8.5mm Spark Plugs wires to boost up the effect, but somehow, i am still getting a cold start still. By cold startl, I mean, i have to floor it a little to keep the engine hot, other wise, it will die out on me. Even my old 1988 honda starts better than my celi...one click it is revs high then idles quickly...can anybody help....i want that nice easy simple start up in the morning like a NEW CAR...just turn and BAM...ignition and ready to go...

I took my car to the Toyota dealer because I really didnt wanna mess with the engine.

Anyways, LewFX really knows his engine stuff, they basically said it was the Idle Control Valve (same thing as wut LewFX said) and they sprayed some carb cleaner on it.

They said I could replace it and it would cost $680 Cdn and I thought that was crazy.... the carb cleaner sorta works.. not that great though.

What can I do, I'm not really grasping the whole concept of this valve, like you know those air intake bypasses, do those bypass this valve ...
