well nintendo released the name of its next console which was code-named revolution. its now, officially, the nintendo wii (pronounced "we").

theres not even a confirmation on halo 3.

By the way, this system will tank hard and ruin Nintendo. PS3 will dominate all and the xbox 360 will fade from the scene while dropping price dramatically.

Not a chance it'll ruin Nintendo. Thy made the vast VAST majority of their profits froom gameboy sales. The Gamecube didn't meet expectations, and the Wii and DS can tank, and Nintendo will still be seeing assloads of profit from the handlheld market.

Besides, Nintendo systems are always good products, in my opinion the gamecube was overall the best system out there last generation. It was small, loaded quick, had a great controller layout, and on average, nintendo puts out better games than anyone else. Sure, it may not have the library of the PS2 or Xbox, but lets face it 90% of games for those systems are rushed crap you'd never want to play anyhow. Also lets not forget the cube had the game of the year--resident evil 4 (which still looks better than most 360 games).

I'm going to get a PS3, mainly for gran turismo 5, but once I see how the Wii thing goes, I may get that as well.
