Supras get a lot of talk, sure they produce a lot of numbers...but their track times aren't always that great. That's why they're called 'dyno queens'. Takes a serious amount of money to get a supdawg in the 11's.

QUOTE(Akimbo @ May 1, 2006 - 4:04 PM) Supras get a lot of talk, sure they produce a lot of numbers...but their track times aren't always that great. That's why they're called 'dyno queens'. Takes a serious amount of money to get a supdawg in the 11's. I disagree. Supra owners are generally just prissy, which can be easy to mistake for "dynoqueenitis" The MKIII guys are way more hardore and aren't afraid to f*** their sh** up. A MKIV is a 13 second car stock, and I've seen BPU supras with not a lot of money dumped into them that can come close to hitting 11's. It's VERY easy to get HP out of the 2JZ. A new exhaust will net you like 25hp, seriously. EDIT: Just incase you were wondering, the RX-7 is pretty much the same way. It's mechanically inferior to the supra, but there's more passion put into it, IMO. This post has been edited by creamed_corn: May 2, 2006 - 11:57 AM |
