Here's sometime to ponder.
a 6th gen celica with a 3sgte swap with stock tranny. vs New honda civic. 1 car is turbo charged and pushes abt 200 horses, and the other is a NA and pushes abt 200 horses too, about the same kerb weight. who would win from a dead launch? -------------------- Journal for my 3SGTE swap
Posting and asking qns here for my 3SGTE swap Regular on ToyotaTuners, no long on TN Lurker on celictech for my 3SGTE swap Trying to sell stuff on alltrac.net Time will tell that it is a mistake to replace the F-14 Tomcat with the F-18 Super Hornet as the carriers first line of defense. |

Swapped Celica = much quicker.
MotorWeek managed to run a 15.6 @ 93 Mph in a 2006 Si. With a seasoned driver and alot of practicing you could expect maybe a few tenths off that time at best. Zipstrips ran a totally stock 3SGTE swap on below-stock boost at Island Dragway here in NJ and got a 14.5 I believe....and Jeff ran a 13.9 with his RC swap running about 12-13 psi, downpipe, full 3" exhaust and thats it. Draw your own conclusions ![]() EDIT- and the Civic is heavier than the Celica by about 200 pounds. ![]() This post has been edited by Silver94CelicaOwner: May 3, 2006 - 11:16 AM -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
