 7AFE Problem!, Its dead =( need advice. |

Ok, so yesterday i goto start my car, and its making a REALLY weird sound. I cant really take a sound clip or anything, but it sounds like something broke and is now settling somewhere. Whenever i try and rev it makes a sound as if the engine is gargling metal? Its coming from the back close to the firewall, and it wasnt anything i can eye down. I just dont know what to do. Ive lost a bit of power, which is rediculous cuz my ST is already slow as....so i feel like an old lady. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Its a consistent sound, it just gets louder when i rev higher.

=( well Bitter hit it on the nose. I took it to a mechanic and he said the motors dead. It hadnt seized yet, but its beyond repair. So now i have to look at my options. I can
1. swap another 7afe in there for 4k 2. attempt to do my own swap. 3.get tweak or someone to do it for me. 4. buy another car. what should i do? I love my celica, and im fortunate to have another one....but i really liked this one. -------------------- I am now a part of the ihavemorethen16gc club! |
