Hey everyone, I don't know where this would go since I do not have a celica anymore, but my MPV died tonight in the parking lot. When I turn the key to crank the engine over... there is only a click and nothing else. I still have electrical power as my headlights and interior lighting work, but the car does not turn over at all or even attempt to. The only noise is a one single click and some really low pitch squeeling noise that kinda sounds like sloshing buzz. I'm thinking its the distributor or alternator? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

could be half a dozen thing. It could be a loose battery cable, but usually it keeps clicking as long as you've got the key turned. But just go through it systematically. Check if it's a fuse. Then see if there's juice getting to the distributor. Then see if the plugs are sparking. If you haven't found your problem by then put a little fuel in the cylider and see if it fires. If it does, it might be fuel pump.
