Hey everyone, I don't know where this would go since I do not have a celica anymore, but my MPV died tonight in the parking lot. When I turn the key to crank the engine over... there is only a click and nothing else. I still have electrical power as my headlights and interior lighting work, but the car does not turn over at all or even attempt to. The only noise is a one single click and some really low pitch squeeling noise that kinda sounds like sloshing buzz. I'm thinking its the distributor or alternator? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

QUOTE(Bitter @ May 7, 2006 - 12:53 AM) loose battery cable or a corroded connection/cable is the likely culprit. this was my problem a few wks ago -- had to clean up the battery terminal - after that it was fine |
