ok, so i'm no the hands on type anymore, but after 40,000 km i changed out my spark plugs on my '4'
hey fun striping of the top mounted intercooler ![]() when i took the plugs out, even with the s%$& fuel over here i was happy with the even 'toast' brown colour they had burnt with ![]() only problem i had was that when i pulled the leads of 2nd and 3rd plugs there was about an inch of oil showing on the lead ends!!!!! i moped it up with a rag and took the plugs out where i saw that the white bit was dis-coloured from being in oil a long time.......... 1st and 4th where clean!!! no sign of oil on the header!!!! does this mean my head gasget is gone or i have a bigger problem ??? new plugs are in, funs sweet and not smoking....... any able to shed some light on this for me...... Thanks for any info ![]() This post has been edited by popstar: May 9, 2006 - 11:46 PM -------------------- ![]() Life is for living, and you don't get a second chance Take care now !! |
