Just curious, I was thinking about this today and was wondering what makes the GT4 tranny different from the FWD. Like, what is different so that it delivers power to the front and rear wheels? Or is there just a separate transfer case to divert power to the rear?

cool thanks, I just found that in our shop program here at school.

I looked at the exploded transmission diagram for the 93 all-trac and it looks like the AWD transfer case is a separate assembly that just mates up to the transmission in place of the intermediate driveshaft. Is it something that can be bought separately from one of you guys with a GT4 clip?
