IMO Stock is best. If anything change your 194 bulbs to LEDs.

QUOTE(snapshotgt @ May 11, 2006 - 12:13 PM) Honestly, i'd pass on those. Imo, i think they look pretty cheap (no offence Josh) ---> find some awesome TRD ones! ![]() ~snap I hope you're kidding, and don't actually think TRD makes indiglo gauges for the Celica. If you've seen them, they are probably SpeedHut custom gauges. QUOTE(Chanh55 @ May 11, 2006 - 12:28 PM) IMO Stock is best. If anything change your 194 bulbs to LEDs. Unless there's been some breakthrough in LED technology, or something that someone has come up with here (as i don't feel like searching, and i've not heard of anything), LEDs cause spotting in the Celica gauges, because of the odd placement of the bulbs. I'm sure with some kind of custom work, it can be done, but unless it's some new LED bulb technology, it wouldn't be plug and go. My personal opinion, and suggestion, is that you like the gauges. Therefore, you should get them. My suggestion on top of that, is to get 3 red 194 bulbs, to replace the stock gauge bulbs, so that the needles will shine red, on top of the blue/red lit gauges. I had this in my car at one time, and at night, it looks quite nice. I say go with em man. -John- -------------------- |

Looks like this has already been covered. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=36629&hl=gauge I just think indiglo guages are cheap looking that's all. |
