QUOTE(celiracer @ May 11, 2006 - 3:59 PM) I have no idea if it would help in a high speed crash. I just know my bodyshop wont touch my car if i take it off. So i hope i can figure some way out to fit the bumper over it. (celicaGT04) did you ever fit it up to the car with the bar on? If so how bad was the gap do you think? And how much would you think it would take to shave some of the crash bar to fit in with it? Yes i did test fit the bumper with the bar on. But i did not bolt it on with it. I asked my body man why he took it off and he said its because it was a tight fit. I think that they might be able to shave some of the inside of the bumper if they really needed to fit the front on. They will find a way to make it work that is why they work there. If not then i guess like crismillencolin said get another body shop. |
