okay i have an amp thats rated at 400watts rms @ 2ohms or 200watts rms @ 4ohms and 1000watts max.its a kenwood kac-8010d or something like that. yeah i know its a kenwod and i shouldn't expect too much out of it, but my question was which sub and how many would be best to use my amp to its full potential. i was just thinkin like one dual 4ohm sub might be best but i want to know other options.
thanks!! This post has been edited by LBCxGUY: May 11, 2006 - 4:03 PM -------------------- ![]() |

I've owned one of them Kenwood amps, and like u prolly know they really suck. It doesnt really matter what kind of sub u get but try to keep RMS of the sub about the same as ur amps and you should be more then fine. The thing about Kenwood amp's is that they clip alot so keep your gains at normal position.
For sub companies I'd go with Alpine Type-E (if u are a cheapo) or get some infinity (mid class) or just be like me and get a W6 ![]() -------------------- <<AKA THA RUSSIAN>>
