Erik sent me a link about how to correct the fans running constantly after removing AC.
The way one guy fixed it was jumping two pins on this plug below ![]() This was on a 5th gen. I was wondering if any of you 6th gen guys not running AC has the fans running full time. I just tryed jumping the plug but the fans still continued running. So, anyone else that could try to jump this plug and post the results that would be a great help. DEF -------------------- ![]() I will return one day. |

QUOTE(brianforster @ May 14, 2006 - 11:51 PM) err sorry I should have clarified, I knew all that, I wonder how the ST knows when to turn these fans on if it does not have a temp sensor on the radiator. Are the fans always on in a normal ST? for the st the sensor is located in coolant housing below distributor and contains a single-pin connector with a Blue/Black wire. everything you ever wanted to know about the 6th gens cooling fans: ST http://www.celicatech.com/imagearchive/bgb...ling%20fans.pdf GT http://www.celicatech.com/imagearchive/bgb...0four%20cyl.pdf This post has been edited by lagos: May 14, 2006 - 11:25 PM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
