my 5sfte is running rich at idle. I have to take out 30% of fuel with my safc in order to get the 13-14.7 ish a/f ratio.
set up: 255 lph pump 440cc injectors everything else is stock What could be causing the problem???? could having the engine retared to much at idle be the cause of the ecu not being able to adjust to a rich mixture????? This post has been edited by urbandork: May 15, 2006 - 12:15 AM |

QUOTE(urbandork @ May 15, 2006 - 12:14 AM) my 5sfte is running rich at idle. I have to take out 30% of fuel with my safc in order to get the 13-14.7 ish a/f ratio. set up: 255 lph pump 440cc injectors everything else is stock What could be causing the problem???? 2 bar map sensor. same thing happened to me. except a lil worse. i had to take 50 percent out at idle to get a 12:1 a/f. Im running 460cc RX-7 Injectors ( like pressure2 ). I am not 100% sure this fix. but sure enough that i bought an MSD 2 bar map sensor from summitracing.com and am gonna give it a shot. It'll be here on tuesday or wednesday. i'll let u know how things go. Dan. oh and what are u doing about your timing? and how much boost u plan on running? --------------------
