Poor Engine Start..., Need help tunning... Options

i thought i finally solved the problem of having a cold start in the mornings if i bought some Iridium Spark Plugs (NEW) and some new Magnecore 8.5mm Spark Plugs wires to boost up the effect, but somehow, i am still getting a cold start still. By cold startl, I mean, i have to floor it a little to keep the engine hot, other wise, it will die out on me. Even my old 1988 honda starts better than my celi...one click it is revs high then idles quickly...can anybody help....i want that nice easy simple start up in the morning like a NEW CAR...just turn and BAM...ignition and ready to go...

i dont know much about engines, hence me asking the question about the bypass valve. I was just trying to see if I could get around replacing the part. I seriously didn't know what the idle control valve did, therefore I asked.. sorry if it was a stupid question.

I didnt have to take the part (idle control valve) out to clean. what I did is disconnect the air intake hose. you will see the idle control valve and on the top there is a little hole. Start the car, and then manual rev the engine, while doing so spray the carb cleaner into the hole. You might have to do it a couple times to get it fully clean... now my engine starts like it did before this happen. And i get to keep the $100 to replace the part in my pocket...lol

it's all good, didn't mean to come off harsh or anything lol it's just that my friend at work put a bypass valve on his CRX and was telling me that it "bypasses air at high RPMS so it's like having a turbo it sucks in so much more air" I just wanted to punch him.

For your information, the AEM bypass valve goes on the air intake to bypass water out of the intake in case you get your air inlet under water

I've never messed with idle valves so sorry I'm not much help
