Erik sent me a link about how to correct the fans running constantly after removing AC.
The way one guy fixed it was jumping two pins on this plug below ![]() This was on a 5th gen. I was wondering if any of you 6th gen guys not running AC has the fans running full time. I just tryed jumping the plug but the fans still continued running. So, anyone else that could try to jump this plug and post the results that would be a great help. DEF -------------------- ![]() I will return one day. |

You guys are funny.... thinking of all kinds of ways to rewire and swap rads out when you dont have to.
The temp switch on an ST is under the distributor! the temp switch on a GT is in the bottom of the rad! The ST rad is smaller than a GT rad and the GT rad is smaller than the alltrac rad so if you put 2 and 2 together... i wire it to run all the time to prevent overheating! If you are doing some hard driving the ST rad might not be able to cool the water fast enough and cause overheating since it is not meant for that kind of powerful motor. ![]() DG -------------------- ![]() |
