well this is a probably a re-post but what rpm do you launch at when you race...come on guys i know everyone on here has done it and will be doing for or till when ever..but yeah whats the best numbers to launch..rpm wise i mean...SWAP AND NO-TURBO...

there are a lot of factors involved, flywheel/clutch type and strength, ect ect.

for me i launch at about 5500 rpm with a spec stage 3 and a fizdanza 10lb flywheel for the drag strip

Not to rag on you here, or steal the thread but are you wanting to spin through 1st?
Especially with the flywheel, you would easily get beat off the line smoking those tires!!!

Personally for me since i have a GT i launch anywhere from 2500RPM-3000RPM
Anything more and i will slip and lose any chance of beating any car.
That launch is for a drag**
Never raced street, rally, or AX.

Not to mention our torque peak is 4400RPM so anything over it and your torque band/curve
would be flat.

But then again i am no mechanic and these are just my opinions from reading around
on forums and what not. Hope this helps.
