 Transmission from Solara., The solara 5sfe and v6 ? Feasible |

My tranny just blew and im looking to replace my tranny from a Solara. The Solara comes with a 5sfe or the v6. Is there any differnce between those two 5spd tranny?

unfortunately i can't tell you for sure.
most of the mainstream information focus' primarly on tranny for swaps my advice to you is to get a GT tranny for a replacement. I have one from my old 5SFE but its old -260k kms(162k miles)- and after shipping and all, it wouldn't be worth it. contact celicarus - he is parting out a GT and he's from Arlington too. -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

K-ESD yes there is a diffrence, the solara v6 uses a E15... May 15, 2006 - 7:35 PM My2Celi so what tranny is feasible on the celica 5sfe? May 15, 2006 - 10:01 PM
