I've heard both sides where people say getting water in the intercooler can hurt the motor. others say it helps cooling. I personally think it wont harm anything. can someone clear this up? thanks

Intercoolers are similar to radiators in that they use air to cool the water inside, only in a intercooler its pressurised air (charged air) being cooled; hence air to air intercooler.
