On Sunday I took the girlfriend to Red Robin (In Auburn, next to the Supermall.. for those WA people). The food was good and all was grand. We finished dinner and I took her home. I go home and go to bed. Next thing I know I am waking up at 2:30AM Monday morning. Feeling... different. I sat in bed for a while and then decided to go hug the toilet. Basically I would get up every 45 minutes and go throw up and then go back to bed. This went until about 2:00PM Monday, when I stopped throwing up and started feeling like even more crap. I was freezing, all cramped up, sick, and just not feeling too good. I went to sleep that night and woke up the next morning feeling alright. As the day progressed I realized the sick feeling was gone, however the intestinal cramps were still there. I popped some Asprin and went to work. All I ate yesterday was half a can of soup. Today I wake up and suprise! Intestinal cramping STILL here! I ate 2 bites of soup.. and thats all I had today. Also my neck is stiff as a board. I can't turn my head either way, nor up or down. I believe that if this isn't gone in the morning I will be calling my doctor...

I work for a food hygiene company. The normal dose of food poising lastes upto 48 hours, but if you eat something like fish or rice which wasn't heated up to atleast 83 degrees you can get food poising which lasts alot longer, there has been cases where poeple have been ill for months as you have to wait for the poision to get out of your system, there is a sorts of food poising where the bacteria klings to your stomach and it takes months to get rid of it.
But if your still feeling ill after a week go and see your Doc. Hope you feel better soon. |
