Alright, i talked to a few people about this subject of using an msd 2 bar map sensor. My problem was that i was just gettin wayy rich readings at idle and during acceleration ( too rich to even drive), with my new 460cc's being controlled by an SAFC II. Anyways, i heard from a few people that using a 2 bar would help lean out my a/f's throughout idle and all rpms. So i installed it today. Seems like nothing has changed. I tried wirinig it in differently with no change again.
First off does anyone know the wiring of of a stock 5sfe map sensor, and then one for the 2 bar MSD pt#2312? ( just so i know i wired it in correctly) And secondly. Why arent my a/f's dropping after installing the 2 bar? should they be? feeback is greatly appreciated (seriously) Thanks Dan. Innovate wideband btw. Oh and for Manny (pressure2) if you're lookin at this. or someone else with a similar to setup as us, if you could remove the 2 bar while idling (just the plug) and see if you're a/fs get really rich. that would help to determine if the 2 bar map actually makes a difference in A/F's Thanks again to anyone who has the time to help! --------------------

what a/fs do u get at idle manny? with the 460cc's and u said like -10% correction. that doesnt make sense that i have the same injectors and even at -50% are running too rich to even drive.
