okay my car is weird. my car is a 95 but has a 99 motor/tranny. will it work if i put in a 94 head into the 98? will i lose power? torque? btw, mine is a 2.2 liter GT. ty

I dont think you will lose or gain anypower.

EGR and emissions stuff you gotta change but thats about it.

uh, im only changing the head not the whole engine. my head has a crazy click/knock and the mechanic told me to change the head. he said it is knocking because maybe timing belt. it hasn't been changed for a long time. he also said it's my lifters? i dont know that's why i need to change my head. i dont want anything else to worry about. i just want a nice quiet ride. without the knock knock knock are you there sound.

anyone know? im changing my head this weekend so i need to know asap. i dont want to make a mistake. also the head is 100 bucks. does that sound like a good deal?
