Hey everyone,
Noob question here, so bear with me, since I couldn't find anything through searching. Just wondering what kind of fuel you guys put into your celicas. I realize that anyone with a swapped or Turbo'ed 6G obviously uses Premium, but what about those of you running 5SFE or 7AFE engines? I would think using a higher octane fuel would increase performance a bit, but does it? Or is it dangerous for the engine? Any more importantly, is it even worth it with the rising cost of gas... Thanks! |

the rise in performance is minimal....if even noticeable. I use 87 octane, cheapest and the car runs just fine. I have a 5sfe btw, i filled the tank with 93 one time...didnt notice a difference.
