Hey guys I don't have my A/C hooked up and I don't get a cel, but if I have the diagnosis pins jumped when the car is running and I give it any gas I get a code 51. Which is IDL No "IDL" or A/C signal during testing Check TPS, A/C switch, Accelerator cable. I don't have my A/C hooked up or the A/C throttle up switch hooked up, will this throw that code?

from my experience that code is thrown most often for throttle cables, TPS would throw it too but youd likely know if something was wrong with your TPS.
unhook your throttle cable from the throttle body and see if the code goes awya, im willing to bet like myself and lagos that your throttle cable is too tight or not adjusted properly. what method of extending the throttle cable are you using? because it is a known issue that the stock throttle cable mounting position is too short and angled a little to the left. |
