Hey guys I don't have my A/C hooked up and I don't get a cel, but if I have the diagnosis pins jumped when the car is running and I give it any gas I get a code 51. Which is IDL No "IDL" or A/C signal during testing Check TPS, A/C switch, Accelerator cable. I don't have my A/C hooked up or the A/C throttle up switch hooked up, will this throw that code?

rj, art and i had this arguement many times and he always came back with "plenty of people without a/c do not throw code 51"
plus if that code was ANYTHING but the throttle cable it would show up when you turn the car on, not only when you press the gas. |
