Mobile 1 makes a 0w-40 full syn, It flows like a 0 weight, but protects like a 40, what do you guys think, bad or good idea? (also, i'm running mobile 1 5w-30 full syn.)

i agree, some people are so picky about their fluids, i was merely bringing up the topic of that green european synthetic to see if anyone else had read about it and was curious to start a conversation about it.

i put the cheapest coolant, antifreeze, brake fluid, power steering fluid i can find in my car, the only thing i wont go cheap on is oil and transmission oil.. and i use whatever oil filter is the cheapest.



Don't worry if people are picky about fluids. After you break your motor in, or before, just try it out, see how it is. You said you were curious to start a conversation about it, more power to you. Oh wait, this site really doesn't go for the "odd ones" Good luck with whatever you try.
