It was very hot today and I'm still running engine coolant in my IC. I need to switch that to water with an additive. I noticed the charge wasnt as cool as last year at the track. Once I get this launch down I can put up some better numbers.

I'm shooting for 13.5 on street tires. So I have to practice practice practice

I will return one day.

It is really nice to actually watch the run from the gauges and see what really happened. Awesome videos....I wish I wasn't stuck at work today. thumbsdown.gif I'll be there next time.

I really think thats like 50% of drag racing is just being relaxed and fluid, I keep thinking back even to my stock GT runs and I shake my head.....i could've made that thing much quicker had I actually launched it and then not bog down the motor so much. I was so intent on just mashing my foot to the floor out of nervousness once first gear grabbed, I realized I probably lost a good ammount of time by not using any "feel" to where the tires were at, or how much throttle would actually make the car accelerate quickest.

Its also pretty unsettling hearing a motor so big and loud in the next lane over that you can't even hear yourself think....

You'll be well into the 13's this summer Jeff, i'm sure of it. I'll be there next time for support.....heck, I'll even provide some umbrella girls in the pit area to keep you loose and relaxed. biggrin.gif
