Just somthing i was thinking about...a lot of peopel on here hate the 7th gen celica... but i wonder if the 4th and 3th and so on .. gen. owners feel the same way about our cars... ??

I agree with Coomer about the attitude of some gen 7 owners. They don't respect the gen 6, where as most of us would respect the older gen celicas.
It's a controversial opion maybe, but I reckon Toyota sold out with the gen 7. For the first time(?) they gave the job of styling to a company outside of Japan, who have just copied the current fashion for sharp edged angular cars. No offense, but I reckon the Japanese designers should have been used to create a true Celica and retain it's Oriental design influences. The new celica now looks too similar to cars that all the common manufacturers like Ford and GM make. Thats why there are so many gen 7s about. That said, it still has all the strengths of the gen 6, like build quality, reliability etc so it is still a 'good car' . ![]() -------------------- Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill.
