Ok, the Eclipse cd deck was installed professionally(cant go wrong with a 1 year theft replacement), and I am almost positive it has an stock amp. I dont think they would have hooked it back up to the amp. So at volume 68+(out of 80) and not very loud, the music is unclean and blares. I do not understand. Should I just buy a new deck thats unamplified and do it myself? Or rewire the speakers to go to the deck?

I know my speakers did that as well, its usually because of the bass coming out of the speaker. Turn down all the bass and it should help the problem. I have bass blockers goign to all 4 of my pioneer 6 3/4'' And i just let my 2 rockford subs take care of all the bass...
