If i am doing a 3sgte swap into my celica GT which ignition should i use...the 5sfe or the 3s?
Bigal PS i would assume that i would use my stock one and just wire it to work with the 3s, but i am uncertain. -------------------- 1994 celica GT.....3sgte in a month! all helpers are welcome!!! i live in Plattsburgh, NY.

Generally, when you say "ignition" in this forum, people will assume you are talking about the components in the engine bay (ignitor, plugs, wires, etc.).
You should use your original wiring to the starter, and the wiring that goes around the car for the starting signal (STA pin on your ECU) should also be original from your car and simply spliced into new harness near the ECU. You can keep your current circuit opening relay or wire in the one from the clip, either one will work if you do it correctly. Wiring that is more related to your car should stay, wiring that is more related to the motor should be from the clip. Just use some common sense and you'll get through it... -Charlie -------------------- 2003 Subaru WRX Wagon
