I have a good deal on a 255/40/r17 for mi celi the wheel is 17x7 offset +35mm could they fit?

For starters, 255 tyres and 8mm spacers are not the way to go. If you want to increase grip that badly, then go for stickier tyres - such as DOT approved road legal slicks - like Toyo RA1s fo example.
Simply putting on wider tyres, rims etc will not imrove handlng etc. In fact, it can often make things worse. Tramlining is often an issue with wider tyres and increasing the track (by fitting spacers) can affect how the car turns etc. As I said earlier, all 255 tyres will do is give you extra bragging rights with your mates - it won't improve driveabilty.
