I was looking around at some of the crate engine sources and I saw a variety of prices. Does anyone know a rough ballpark for what a 5SFE should cost on average?
jspecautosports.com $895 !!!! ???? (it says engine only but then goes on to list all this other stuff that is included. strange) orientengine.com $2200 powerpro200.com $2545 -------------------- 94 CelicaGT producing massive amonts of NOx - UGH!!!
98 Volvo V70 - guzzling lots of gas - GAAH! |

It's kinda rediculous how much 5SFE's go for, even used from salvage yards on Car-Part.com or on EBay.
It seems alot of these places see how common a motor it is, and decide to charge top dollar for them even with high mileage. Sorta rediculous, but theres more reasonable deals out there either from a U-pick-it yard or guys that swap or something. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
