I dont remember the date for the 2nd gen when they made changes to the engine, but are there any ways to tell when mine was made? there is no part number on my knock sensor, and i need to know which 2nd gen knock sensor to get from toyota. otherwise i HAVE to use this GM one from ATS.

if you have a 7 bolts on your exhaust manifold your engine was made before the june
if you have 9 bolts on your exhaust manifold your engine was made after june. count the bolts that attatch your manifold to the block. that will give you the answer. |
