Hey guys... New here and deff staying. Since 6GC does not have a welcoming forums section this will be my into.
So I'm 19, got a 96 GT Hatch. Blew my engine a few months ago. Ordered a new 5sfe with 43K on it. And I really want to turbo it. I just got 1000$ for a back injury for a back injury in the past. And wana throe in a TURBO while i got money. So I talked to a few people here that have done custom turbos on their cars for around my price range. And I will need a turbo manifold, the turbo and custom piping... and not shure what else, hope you guys will let me know. And I also would like to know if the Turbo Manifold from a 3sgte would fit onto my 5sfe with out making any changes to it. And just basicly wing it from there. And where is it possible to find a turbo that would just bolt onto the 3sgte manifold. Thank you for your time. |

here you go
TURBO BIBLE! lol yeah, they are in the stickies in the forced induction forum.... study up! oh and yeah, people are gona drop by saying that it is more complicated turboing a 5s so you should drop in a 3sgte... easier and cheaper but hey, whatever floats ur boat oh and since ur in cali, if you do turbo it ur gona fail smog automatically, even with a 5sfe so ur gona have to pay to pass if you catch my drift ;D This post has been edited by XS4lv1Truch0x: Jun 10, 2006 - 4:25 PM -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D
