Went to a local high school car show this weekend. Was a bit disappointed because only 27 cars came out. about 18 hot rods. Most of those guys were pretty nice except for a few that were pretty rude towards the import cars. At the end of the show a local newspaper wanted to take pics of the Scions since there were 8 of them and the american car owners did a burn out so that all the smoke got in the picture. It was pretty lame. Below are just a few pics. Best Import was voted by everyone there and a 1970 something Bug took it which was kinda lame. Luckily it went to a kid though but that was obviously voted by the hot rod guys who didnt want it going to an import cuz my friend Shawn should have taken it with his Xb.

i very much agree with Tina. the xb's just don't look good in my eyes, they're far too square and box-like. but we're not bashing the owners... or really the vehicle at all, just saying we don't think it looks good. i don't really see a problem with that. why own a vehicle for everyone elses opinion? i did my car up in my own taste and i think it looks good and that's what matters to me. if someone else doesn't like it, that's their problem, don't look at it. i'm very open to comments on my car, good or bad, i think everyone should be. sometimes you get the best ideas from constructive criticism on your work. some people just shouldn't take it personal.... it's just a car....
