Hey guys,
Well now that I'm done with the swap and it runs and everything, its time to fix the small bugs that are left in it. Couple of things... My engine doesn't have all the power that it should have when I'm in first gear. Its not just first gear, its mainly when I'm first accelerating. From about 0-15 or so MPH I can be at full throttle and have about 50 HP but then all of a suddden it kicks in and I get the power out of the engine that I should. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?? My only idea is the fuel pressure, but would that only be a problem at a low MPH? This is the only bug that I am totally confused about!! Please if anyone has any ideas post them up!! Thanks everyone!! -------------------- |

QUOTE Note: silvertops are......slow untill redline. Not an ideal drag-strip car, or racing up hills. Ya, but this is really really slow at full throttel when starting. I connected direct power to the VVT (Black with Red strip) not the pink ribbed one so that should be fine! I think it might be a cam timing problem -------------------- |
