Hey guys,
got my celica the way i want it to look but its lacking the power. im intrested in having the engine turbo charged and looking at some options. A) full engine conversion from the GT4. B) Strip a GT4 engine and fit the turbo etc to the 3SGE engine (if possible) C) Upgrade to a blitz turbo kit (£5.5k) ![]() Im thinking the only way to do this would be the gt4 converion because surly more people would have turbo charged st202 if it was just the case of taking the bits needed off the GT4. Thanks for any input in advanced. Kenny |

Just a quick update - I love this motor!!!
Turned the boost up to 15 PSI using a manual boost controller, and now the car really moves. 3500 - 6000 rpm has tons of pull and the tiny turbo just screams (literally). The stock MR2 BOV works great. Stock ST202 fuel pump is holding up fine too. This car easily walks away from stockish 185's and 2nd gen MR2's. A buddy with a CT27 powered MR2 is going to be checking it out tonight, I have a feeling he'll be jealous tomorrow. I'll try to get a quick vid of it later this week, before it goes under the knife again. I have some bad valve ticking which is setting off the knock sensor. I had a vavle job while the motor was apart (just a re-grind w/ new seals - valvetrain is 100% stock) so the machine shop is fixing it for free. -------------------- Scott
