Most of the cars are from 70s and in really bad condition. the roads have no markings and the traffic lights are for show only. The horn is as essential as the brakes as their are interchangeable. Driving in 160 kmh and changing lanes all the time is normal. And then ofcourse there are the horses and the carts.....
and btw the width of the road is never the same. it goes from 4 lanes to 2 and then to 4 again. but as there are no markings on the road, they drive wherever they want. This is the most scary driving i have ever seen. And if there is an accident, they just continue if nobody is hurt.

getting in a taxi and going from one place to another is the most scary thing i have ever done. At least I am staying at Four Seasons

My uncle went to Egypt a few years ago for a geological study and said that it was an amazing experience, albeit the scariest thing he's ever done.

He said the same thing....drivers were downright scary, buses were loaded so heavy that tires blew when they hit small rocks, and everyone was carrying some sort of soviet-era firearm. Its pretty wild, he took about 5 hours worth of video tape when he was there and it really gives you a feel for the way that things are elsewhere in our world.
