I was reading the USA Today today, and they had an article about the new season of the MTV show "Pimp My Ride". Apparently, the garage they use on the show is moving from West Coast Customs to some huge ass Ford dealership in San Bernadino, CA. It is like the largest selling Ford dealership in the country, and they have been customizing cars for decades too. Some of the current cast will be on the new season too, including "Mad Mike".
ANYWAY, they mentioned that one of the episodes will involve a "vintage" Toyota Celica (I'm guessing 1st or 2nd Gen) and that they had to go through three rebuilt engines and two rebuilt transmissions before they could get the car going right. So, I guess, stay tuned for when that episode comes on! ![]() |

It's ALL excessive because thats what makes for an entertaining TV show. Otherwise people watching MTV would lose interest.
Now, if the audience of the show wasn't teenagers, then they would probably show more of the buildup and performance end of things and they would look much more tastefully done...I.E. Overhaulin. ![]() -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
