Ok, so I have put up a couple of posts about what swap I should do and decided to do a 4age 20V "silvertop swap". My problem now is that I feel like I made a mistake. I feel like doing this swap into my 1994 st isnt worth it

All, I can say Is slap a Turbo on that 20V Banger and it will play catch up to the 3sgte.
The stock internals can withstand up to 220'ish HP so you dont have to worry too much if you boost very, very low (if not minimum ![]() The hard part, is fiding yourself a Turbo Exhaust manifold. There exists none, unless you can customize one or use your old ones to make one. Don't feel too sad, its just that The true potential comes from the turbo for quick easy way to power. Then you have the camshafts, pistons and electronics that will need $$$ dished out. At least for now go turbo. A 20V, 4-throttle 1.6, DOHC, VVT, Turbo is more rare than a DOHC turbo. Its the Qualities of an Engine, not the Quantities. |
