I was reading the USA Today today, and they had an article about the new season of the MTV show "Pimp My Ride". Apparently, the garage they use on the show is moving from West Coast Customs to some huge ass Ford dealership in San Bernadino, CA. It is like the largest selling Ford dealership in the country, and they have been customizing cars for decades too. Some of the current cast will be on the new season too, including "Mad Mike".
ANYWAY, they mentioned that one of the episodes will involve a "vintage" Toyota Celica (I'm guessing 1st or 2nd Gen) and that they had to go through three rebuilt engines and two rebuilt transmissions before they could get the car going right. So, I guess, stay tuned for when that episode comes on! ![]() |

Guys,
If you think the US P.M.R is poor then you should definitely watch the UK version. OMG Westwood is suck a k**b (for those of you that don't know him, hes a 6 foot+ skinny white UK Radio DJ bloke that talks and acts like hes a big shot american - says phrases such as - HOLLA - THAT WAS MAD HOT etc. I mean eh? What are you talking about fool??) Anyway, the UK show is about 100% worse than the US version which I don't think is that bad. But I agree Overhaulin is alot better and more watchable. |
