Ok, so I have put up a couple of posts about what swap I should do and decided to do a 4age 20V "silvertop swap". My problem now is that I feel like I made a mistake. I feel like doing this swap into my 1994 st isnt worth it

vvt will actually make for a better turbocharged application since in the higher rpms you switch to a better flowing cam profile and will be able to flow even more air and pull real hard all the way till redline or further. tuning for that isnt that hard, just set the fuel maps and ignition maps up right with the right rpm points and it wouldnt cause any problems.
