Your favorite, Well I have been in the process of this resto swap for 2 years and i want it done in the next 2 months. I have a 96 st205 engine into a 94 st. I have the 205 harness plugged into the st body harness; It will not turn over tried replacing the st reley nothing. Have you done a 205 to st chassis? I have the harness installed on the engine and the engine is in the car, so i really do not want to take it off. I thought that the same generation engines would be plug and play with some minor wiring. I have a gt ea1 diagram but I can't find one for the 205; i am assuming that the problem is in this plug. I have also assumed that the 205 plugs on the ecu side would be the same as the st on the body side behind the climate control. if youy have any info or another person who has done this swap please let me know. any and all help is greatly appriciated.

I need some help from anyone that has done a st205 engine into an st. If anyone is in the central ohio area I have lots of beer and i know quite a bit, but wiring is my weakest link i need someone to tell me where to start looking thanks lance.

Check the clutch / neutral start switch wiring. The ST and GT4 wires are in different places (same connector though). Most of the wires you need to move around are next to the ECU - plugs II1, II2 and IJ1 IIRC.

I have collected a few of the 205 wiring diagrams over the past few years that can help you. If your interested, PM me with your email address and I'll forward them to you.
