 Interior Door Fabric |

The fabric on my door panels is coming off (the glue isn't holding anymore), I took it to an upholstery shop and the guy said that it would be impossible to reglue the fabric back on since it is hard to find a glue that holds to vinyl, but the car came like that from the factory and the fabric held for almost 9 years, does anyone know of a glue I can use, or a way I can set the fabric so that it holds? The door looks fine without it but I think the tan fabric really adds to the cars interior...
 It is the fabric pictured on the passenger door here, the drivers side door fabric is completely removed... --------------------  We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it. |

pull off wat you have
take a drill with a very thin bit and drill in a couple holes to give the glue something to sink into and bite down on...then apply your new cloth..should probably hold a little better 3m spray glue might be good for this project as well |

I think the biggest concern the guy at the upholstery shop had was the outer edges where the vinyl pieces met...are you saying I should drill all the way around that center piece? -------------------- We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it. |
