just as the title reads, will a 3sfe head work with a 5sfe block. im not the smartest person in the world but they should have the same blocks. i know the 5s is a 2.2, and the 3sfe is a 2.0... Is it just a smaller combustion chambered head? kinda like putting a honda b16a head on the ls integra block? smaller chambered head adding more compression. any healp would be great. thanks

If you want to increase compression, planing the head is the best way to go about it on a 5sfe, imo. If you want to do that though, you should probably get some engine management first to make sure you can tune it properly. Bad thing about the Toyota motors compared to the Hondas, is that not everything is interchangable. And there's not near as much info out there for the Toyota motors. If you are serious about power from a 5sfe, and have the cash, check these forums for info. I've attempted to build a NA 5sfe, so I'll help you out were I can.
