Running 1200 km/s (800 miles) now with the swap (about 4 weeks). No problems so far. Heard stories of guys breaking there tranny in the first year. But after research they did a lot of Racing/Trackdays. Defgeph is also running on a 3S-GE tranny with 245 whp for almost 1 year now with no problems.

Still running stock boost/power now (255bhp ) Want to get 250 whp (dyno proven) in a few months.

@XS4lv1Truch0x:

Look at where he is from. Newcastle = UK. He has 3S-GE engine already and they weren't sold as auto transmission.
About the swap. 3S-GE -> ST205 3S-GTE swap is the easiest of them all. But thats only because everything is from the same generation and type of engine. You still need to know your stuff prior to buying one part for it. I researched about 1 year before actually doing the swap. With the help of a Mechanic the swap was done in 5 days. (1 full Saterday + 4 evenings)

But I still have one question. Why didn't you just buy a GT4. I was planning to by a RHD GT4 from the UK but did not do it simply because I find it to dangerous driving around on those tight roads here. But looking at the prices for a GT4 ranging from 5-8k pounds I know that it would be cheaper to have a GT4 then buying a GT and then doing a Conversion. Side note: In Holland we have an Extra car tax on all cars. So a GT4 if sold even 2nd hand costs about 16-20k Euro (20-26k USD)
