Is there anyone on this site who has successfully done (or have done) a 3SGTE swap with a GT4 manual tranmission (converted to front wheel drive: NOT all wheel) on a 6GC without losing power to the wheels ??? Or, did you have to get an MR2 tranny since its just front wheel drive?
Thanks!!! -------------------- I drive a Celica. Anything "less" is just a car! |

gt4 trans are made to put power out to all 4 wheels... by unbolting the transfer case and putting something to close off the diff you would only get half the power put out to the front wheells....
Yes the mr2 turbo trans is your best bet... painful to do and its not cheep but yes I have done one on a 6gc. -------------------- BANNED!
