Is there anyone on this site who has successfully done (or have done) a 3SGTE swap with a GT4 manual tranmission (converted to front wheel drive: NOT all wheel) on a 6GC without losing power to the wheels ??? Or, did you have to get an MR2 tranny since its just front wheel drive?

Wow Capslock alert!!!!
Stehn is currently in the process in making the ST205 gearbox 2wd. Its a real PITA and you need whole kind of different parts. MR2T inner axel's en ST205 outers. And then still a bit of custom work. But MR2 tranny has been done several times as well. If your powergoals aren't above 250 whp a 5S-FE or 3S-GE tranny will be sufficient enough. -------------------- JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!
