Ive been wondering for all the swappers out there, how did you get your money up? its been on my mind for a while, never really asked.
different strokes different folks! would love to hear some stories too! (not limited to engine swaps) ive been considering working in the boom boom room on ladies night....  and i think carsponsorships.com is a pimping device...

Taking a Loan to buy a car/mods for it, is just plain stupid. If you can't afford it at that moment, wait untill you have saved enough cash to do it straight up.
I'm 22 and working full time since I'm 20. Living at home so no constant costs each month. I worked (besides school) since I was 13 or so and saving everything I had. Not buying needless stuff like sigarettes or Scooters/Mopeds. Bought a Cheap car (300 dollar) when I had my Driving License (19 at the time) and another one (2000 dollar) when I was 20. Bought the Celica when I was 21. -------------------- JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!

So then taking out a loan to buy a house is stupid also, Everyone just save up to buy a house full in cash, it so stupid that you don't have $300,000 just for the cost of the house, then add everything up...what? you don't have that in your bank account? Lazy!!! You've been spending all your money on like rent? why when you could live at home??? Sorry some of us have responsiblity and bills!! And fiances  no hard feelings i agree on modding the car, but buying a car? Atleast its a loan and not a credit card!!!
