Ive been wondering for all the swappers out there, how did you get your money up? its been on my mind for a while, never really asked.

Agreed. Taking a loan to modify a car is NOT a smart thing. Let's say you take out a loan for $10K to customize your celica. Modification do NOT increase the value of your car. So you drop a 3S-GTE into the motor, body kit, whatever. Then you get in an accident. If you don't have insurance, you're out everything and paying for a loan for nothing. If you do have insurance, they see 199x Celica.......and will pay you based on that. And you're still out the loan for the money.
A car is not a wise invenstment. Houses are a completely different animal, as stated above. If you can't pay for the mod at the time, then it's not time for the mod. -------------------- |
